  6. Dr Josh.. HOW can a TYPE 1 diabetic do Intermittent Fasting if my blood
    sugar gets low?! I mean that would mess up the WHOLE fast, if it bottomed
    out!? :-/

  7. Perhaps a bit off subject (or maybe not)…

    but we see examples in the Bible / OT when prophets and other characters
    who were
    devoted to God would often fast (in part) as a means of prayer, cleansing,
    ect…

    …and even practicing Muslims reserve an entire month for this observation
    (ie, Ramadan) so maybe there is something to this idea of “fasting”.

    But the question (particularly for someone who has never fasted before)…
    is how do you do it properly & effectively without starving, malnourishing
    or otherwise causing any harm to yourself??
