  5. Never understood why moving the hips forward at the top of a dead lift has
    any benefit. Aren’t the legs and back muscles relaxed pretty much when
    you’re straight up like that? I know you get a glute flex but there is not
    much resistance even on the glutes in that position.

    3. hey a doctor that has no clue what hes talking about… thats a first…
      not. The hip thrust is a staple in all motions of like this. The glute
      squeeze is more valuable than you give it credit for… but perhaps more
      importantly, without that squeeze, you are getting s great deal wobble in
      your lower back due to lack of stabilization support from your legs, which
      is dangerous from an injury perspective.

  6. excellent lifts I myself find that I get the greatest pump doing those
    exercises they do tire you and definitely build muscle

  7. I love the clean and press, great great exercise. Can’t do them at the
    moment due to tennis elbow so I’m just concentrating on squatting. Good
    video Rob.
